Sarah Rinaldi, Children's Programming Coordinator and CitiSchool Head Teacher, 2s and 3s

Sarah received her BFA in Art Education from Manhattanville College in 2008 and her Masters of Studio Art from The College of New Rochelle in 2011. As an undergrad, Sarah was the director of a youth program called Creative Expression Through Art and interned at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in the Education Department. Coming out of college, Sarah was the manager of Gymboree in Scarsdale where she taught classes ranging in age from 2 months through 5 years and was the Head Teacher in their School Skills program. Sarah has also taught several mixed media art classes at the Rye Art Center and teaches art privately. Sarah has been with Citibabes since 2010 as the lead teacher in CitiSchool Jr, CitiSchool 2s and CitiSchool 3s. In 2014, Sarah created and launched CitiBox; a subscription based art box that allows all families to bring home age appropriate crafts. Along with the CitiSchool platform, Sarah has developed and implemented many art classes and workshops at Citibabes such as cooking, science, and movement. 


Matt Paessler began his career in early childhood education as a member of the children's band The Ohmies (now the hit Canadian television show The Moblees), teaching kids across the world healthy habits and how to be kind to one another. In addition to teaching baby rock music classes for the past two years, Matt released his first EP of original music last year and went on his first mini solo tour this year. 

Randi Spoon, CitiSchool Teacher, Art and Science

Randi graduated with a BFA from Syracuse University’s College of Visual and Performing Arts, majoring in Fashion Design with a minor in Textiles. Randi went on to start a line of women’s contemporary apparel under the name of SPOON Fashion. After working in the fashion industry for five years, she decided to transition away from entrepreneurship and focus on teaching the arts to children. Randi believes instilling a love of art and creativity is essential to a child’s self expression and joy of learning.  

Danielle Balog, Art Teacher

Danielle has been an early childhood educator over four years with experience teaching in the preschool classroom, as well as experience teaching specialty art and movement classes. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communications and English from the University of Rhode Island in 2009 and studied at The Art School at Old Church. Danielle also teaches private art classes to young children throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn. Danielle is passionate about teaching her preschoolers and believes in our Citibabes philosophy; play and art-based learning foster creativity, confidence and a love of learning in our little ones!

Mr. Corbitt - Enrichment Music Teacher, Preschool Music Theory teacher and Music Enrichment Instructor

A native of Pensacola, FL, Corbitt graduated with a BFA from Boston Conservatory, majoring in Music Theater. After touring across North America and the Caribbean with Disney and Theaterworks USA, Corbitt began his preschool teaching career in 2011 right here in NYC. With over three years experience in developmental music education, baby gym classes, and child care, he has infused his deep passion for music, his extensive training as a singer, and his love of children into a interactive, challenging, and exciting classroom experience. Corbitt believes that early education, especially in the fine arts, helps children discover the world around them, find their own voice, and develop a sense of independence and self-worth that is essential to building a full, rich, and happy life.
